Digital marketing, also called online marketing, is the promotion of brands to connect with potential customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication. This includes not only email, social media, and web-based advertising, but also text and multimedia messages as a marketing channel.
Essentially, if a marketing campaign involves digital communication, it's digital marketing. -
Digital marketing is important because it connects a business with its customers when they are online, and is effective in all industries.
It connects businesses with ideal customers when they are on Google through SEO & PPC, on social media with social media marketing, & through email with email marketing. -
The main difference between digital and traditional marketing is the medium through which an audience encounters a marketing message.
While traditional marketing uses traditional media like magazines and newspapers, digital marketing uses digital media, such as social media or websites. -

We cover the cost of hosting your website every month, and charge according to your relationship with us.
For a standard website, we anticipate working on your website for at least an hour every month and the cost is associated with two things -
1. Hosting of your website on SQSP and,
2. The time necessary to perform good SEO practices. -
Our websites are hosted independently therefore they do not live on your domain per se. Your domain hosts traffic and email accounts. It can host your website, but that requires costly IT and coding knowledge.
Our service is much cheaper by design (pun intended) and since we host independently we can be more agile and maintain a live website as we develop it over the years. It’s a subscription-based service, so we use a CMS system that can be manipulated easily, making it a seamless transition for everyone.
In our basic subscription, you have pretty much everything you need and it comes in two sizes -
- Small (personal plan) and,
- One Size Fits All (business plan).The product also easily integrates into our retainer models for whenever you need to top up with research, design and copywriting services.

Your website can be as large or as small as it needs to be. We do not charge per page. We've got a great team of people working on every account every month. Once you work through our brief and supply any relevant content, we create any and all static pages you need from the start.
If you ever need more pages, you can request them at any time - it's covered in your relational retainer℠ agreement. In fact, when we identify the need for more pages (particularly landing pages) we'll just create them for you.
If you need more work in the given month, you can add extra credits in batches of three or five credits to cover add-ons.

We strive to make things as simple as possible. In the case of website pages, you can have up to 20 static pages active on your website at a time for small websites as part of a 'personal plan'.
Once you hit that threshold, you can add more pages simply by purchasing a 'business plan' subscription, which is an additional credit used from your retainer. This time, it truly is unlimited - there's no need to buy more 'space' after this.
It is however, required for all of our clients in motion marketing™ and marketing accelerator™ to use a 'business plan' - as we require multiple logins for our team and access to the integrations, plus the ability to create pages as needed.

Static pages are pages that hardly change, hence, they are 'static'. These are pages like your home page, services, contact page, etc. Although the content on these pages may change, their URL doesn't move.
Technical warning!
URL Slugs are the technical term - this is something like http://www.switchmarketing/contact - the bolded area is your 'slug', or where it rests on your domain.

We utilize a Growth Driven Design approach (GDD) to online marketing. It allows us to launch a website quickly and effectively by targeting the maximum return for the least amount of effort (around 5-10 pages and a blog).
Subsequent to this, our retainer models allow you to 'inject', put into 'motion', or 'accelerate' your marketing efforts to build on a needs basis. We assist in mapping out your Effort vs. Reward chart and develop it as we learn more about your customers and your business. This allows us to launch at nearly 1/3 the price, bringing small business owners and SMEs high-quality marketing at affordable prices.

Why would you cancel? Nobody will love you like we do! But if you need to, cancelling is simple. If you have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with us, then the terms can be found there. If you are feeling lazy, and/or don't have one, then all accounts must be cancelled with one month's notice. That's it, you simply do not renew and we do not bill you
If you are no longer hosting with us, we export your website in an XML file that's developer-friendly and you can take it to another host. We will also send over any other accounts that we manage for you, including any Social Media, Google Analytics, MailChimp, etc.
If you are not continuing on a relational retainer℠ with us. That means we probably did something really wrong or we just fell out of love.
Don't worry, we'll be here in case you need us to come galloping in on a white steed later.

That's a shame because we really believe we are unbeatable when it comes to value for money.
Sometimes, however, you've gotta sharpen the pencil. This is achievable, but we require you to follow the close-out procedure and if you want open files, they are available on quotation. Because we plan for a lifetime of work with our clients, we subsidise the relationship by sitting in as brand managers.
Standard practices of delivering open files so you can bring them to a new designer/agency or use them on your own require anywhere from 3x-5x original production price (If you'd like to make assumptions).
We are more than happy to set you up and hand over all open files if that's what you want.
